Preparation of this Accessibility Statement

This Accessibility Statement was prepared on September 30, 2020. The website was last reviewed on January 13, 2026. The assessment was conducted as a self-assessment conducted by TU Dresden.

 

Compliance Status 

This website is partially compliant with the requirements of the BfWebG (the German Federal Act on Accessible Websites) and its implementing ordinance, BITV 2.0 (Germany’s Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance).

 

 

Non-Accessible Content

The ctd.qmat website is extensive and contains a large number of documents. While accessibility barriers are being addressed on an ongoing basis, resource constraints currently prevent full compliance.

 

  • The sliders and the news ticker on the landing page run automatically and cannot be paused by the user
  • In many cases, alternative text does not adequately describe the content of the image
  • The contrast of pagination elements is insufficient
  • The two logos in the header are not accessible via keyboard navigation
  • The subscript numbers in chemical formulas in publications contain elements that can be accessed via keyboard, which may interfere with navigation
  • The navigation dots in the slider are too small
  • Text links are currently distinguished from surrounding text solely by color
  • The labels for form fields are not correctly associated with the corresponding form fields
