Early Career Researchers on Flat Bands 2026

Flat band systems have emerged as as a rapidly developing research area in condensed matter physics. From strongly correlated electronic phases to topological phenomena and unconventional superconductivity, flat bands provide a powerful platform for exploring interaction-driven quantum states. This workshop will focus on recent theoretical and experimental advances in flat band physics from the perspective of early-career researchers working in the field.

deRSE26 - 6th conference for Research Software Engineering in Germany

deRSE26, the sixth German Conference on Research Software Engineering, will take place at the University of Stuttgart from 3–5 March 2026. The organisers invite contributions in many formats – talks, posters, demos, tutorials, workshops, meet-ups, and hackathons – to showcase the breadth of RSE work. The programme will highlight how software acts as a common language that connects communities and bridges traditional disciplinary boundaries within research.
